This week Dr Aisling Loy of Himerus Health was invited on to the Pat Kenny show on Newstalk to discuss STIs in the party season (listen here from 3 mins). Pat was interested to know about the rise in STIs and how easy it is these days to get tested. Dr Loy also discussed the rise in casual sex with the likes of the Tinder and Grinder apps and how it wasn’t such a taboo to have casual sex anymore even though it is still a taboo to go to an STI clinic. Dr Loy was also featured this week in the Irish Daily Mail discussing the same topics.
